Firefox will not develop an iPhone app

With the launch of Firefox Home in the AppStore, the first rumors appeared indicating that Mozilla could port the famous Firefox browser to iOS as well. Some time has passed since then and unfortunately no progress has been made in this regard, and yesterday they appeared information which indicates that Mozilla does not intend to bring Firefix to terminals running iOS. Unfortunately, Mozilla prefers to continue developing the application Firefox Home instead of a browser for iDevices, and this seems to me to be a rather bad decision considering that tens of millions of iDevice owners are waiting for Firefox.

Unfortunately, the only way to benefit from the "Mozilla" experience on the iPhone remains Firefox Home, that is, an application through which you can synchronize your iPhone tabs/bookmarks from the Firefox browser opened at home on your personal computer.

We are working to bring as much of your Firefox experience as possible to Firefox Home. People have asked about adding more browser-like features to Firefox Home, but there are technical and logistical restrictions that make it difficult, if not impossible, to build the full Firefox browser for the iPhone. We are focused on building Firefox Home as a rich, cloud-based application and making it a valuable product that people will continue to love and use.
