Today Samsung a announced the official figures regarding the sales of the Samsung Galaxy S terminal from its launch until now. The terminal was announced in March of this year, but the official launch took place only in June, and since then sales have exceeded 5 million units worldwide. In the more than 3 months of availability, the terminal sold even better than the iPhone in certain countries (probably also Romania) and was one of the reasons why many iPhone owners decided to leave the "boat" of iDevices to test a terminal equipped with Android.
I had the opportunity to test a Samsung Galaxy S terminal for a short time and I wasn't very impressed with it, but it was a short test so I couldn't form a concrete opinion about it, but from what I've seen of Android I don't it even attracts so much that I give up on iOS. The Samsung Galaxy S also has quite a few problems, there is a list on the internet in which all the still unresolved problems of the terminal are listed, anyway it had very good sales and this is good because it pushes those from Apple to offer us more a lot.
