Probably many of you know about the Wi-Fi Sync application and the fact that it allows you to synchronize your terminal with iTunes without having to connect the terminal to the PC via a USB cable. Everything is done via WiFi exactly as you see in the demonstration video clip posted above. Unfortunately, the initial version of Wi-Fi Sync caused very, very big problems with the "restore" function of iTunes, so I have recommended kindly stop using it if you want to be able to use the "restore" function in iTunes without problems. Version 2.0(which we talked about in August) of the application should have these problems solved and more than that it comes with some news:

  • the possibility to synchronize data with iTunes via WiFi, 3G, EDGE and VPN;
  • stability problems have been solved and in addition the developer has improved the general performance of the application;
  • has native support for iPad and iPod Touch 4G;
  • allows direct integration with iTunes.

Unfortunately, this new version of the application will probably not be more expensive but not cheaper than the previous one, so you will have to take $10 out of your pocket if you want to buy it. Anyway the new version will be disposable only in December, so you have time to raise money for her.
