The iPad 3G version of the SwirlySMS application has been available in Cydia for a few days and allows iPad 3G tablet owners to send SMS using the telephone network through which they are connected. Natively the iPad tablet did not allow sending SMS, but MuscleNerd from the Dev Team found a way to implement this function and the people from SwirlySMS made an application that makes sending SMS as easy as on iDevice- hate. SwirlySMS is the free version of the application SwirlyMessage which allows you to send both SMS and MMS from the iPad 3G tablet, but the developers probably thought that it would be appropriate to also release a free version without too many options that allows all owners of iPad 3G tablets to benefit from the SMS function.
