iPad jailbroken on iOS 4.2, decoding is in progress

Last night iH8sn0w a publicat a picture showing an iPad tablet with iOS 4.2 beta 3, jailbroken and running Mobile Terminal. That iPad belongs to iH8sn0w, but the demonstration that it can be jailbroken on iOS 4.2 beta 3 was not necessary considering that limera1n and greenpois0n are already able to do this for all iDevices without problems. It would have been interesting for iH8sn0w to publish a video in which the iPad tablet boots into the system after a reset, i.e. to have an untethered jailbreak solution implemented, and iH8sn0w promised to publish such a video today. At the moment, there is no longer the problem of jailbreaking an iDevice regardless of the iOS 4.x version, but rather the problem of discovering an exploit to make that jailbreak untethered.

I saw that people are asking about decoding, so I will reaffirm what I wrote a few weeks ago: the decoding solution for baseband 05.14.x will be available only after the release of iOS 4.2. It is not known when iOS 4.2 will be available, nor how long it will take from the official launch of iOS and until the new jailbreak/decoding solutions will be available, but it is certain that after iOS 4.2 we will have a new decoding solution.
