iOS 17.3 will be released next week by the Apple company, but the full list of changes for iPhone and iPad has already been published, showing us all the changes that the company from Cupertino will offer us with this update.
iOS 17.3 brings some interesting news, for protecting iDevices that have been stolen, for the lock screen, or for listening to music, so all that remains is to see if they will be as beneficial as the Apple company says.
Stolen device protection
- Stolen Device Protection increases iPhone and Apple ID security by requiring Face ID or Touch ID without a backup code to perform certain actions
- The security delay requires Face ID or Touch ID, an hour wait, and then an additional successful biometric authentication before sensitive operations such as changing your device password or Apple ID password can be performed
Lock screen
- The new Unity wallpaper honors black history and culture in celebration of Black History Month
The music
- Playlist collaboration lets you invite friends to join your playlist and everyone can add, reorder and remove songs
- Emoji reactions can be added to any track in a collaborative playlist
This update also includes the following improvements:
- Hotel AirPlay support lets you stream content directly to your in-room TV in select hotels
- AppleCare & Warranty in Settings shows your coverage for all devices connected with your Apple ID
- Crash detection optimizations (all iPhone 14 and iPhone 15 models)
