Think you've seen them all? Well NO! The famous company Cobra, manufacturer of devices that detect police radars, has made a radar device that can be connected to an iPhone terminal. The accessory communicates with the iPhone terminal through an application available in the AppStore and according to those from Cobra, it benefits from the latest technology in the field of radar detection. iRadar it is able to detect any kind of radar device or radar camera, but it is specially made so that it has a 360-degree verification angle, that is, you will know about the existence of a radar regardless of whether it is in front, behind or to your side. The iPhone application comes with Cobra's Aura database, which contains information about most of the cameras/fixed radars as they were discovered on the map.

The iPhone application allows you to specify what kind of radar devices need to be monitored, what kind of alerts you receive, but at the same time you have real-time statistics about your speed, your position on the map and much more. The iRadar accessory communicates via Wi-Fi or BlueTooth with your iDevice, so there is no need for any kind of connection via a cable. From the video clip, the device seems to be quite interesting, but it remains to be seen how it performs in real tests, anyway it is something innovative and very useful for iPhone owners who have a car. iRadar costs $130 and can be purchased from here.
