Jailbreak iOS 4.2.1 with redsn0w 0.9.6 beta 4!

The Dev Team has just released the beta 4 version of the redsn0w 0.9.6 jailbreak program and with its help you can jailbreak iOS 4.2.1 and use Cydia. This jailbreak is TETHERED (that is, if you turn off the phone, you will have to redo the jailbreak) for:

  • iPhone 3GS (new bootrom);
  • iPhone 4;
  • iPod Touch 2G (MC – new bootrom);
  • iPod Touch 3G;
  • iPod Touch 4G;
  • iPad.

Owners of iPhone 3G/3GS (old bootrom) and iPod Touch 2G (old bootrom) will be able to jailbreak untethered.

If you need decoding, DO NOT UPDATE to iOS 4.2.1 because there is no decoding solution yet, but there will be one available this week. you can read This article where you have detailed information about everything I mentioned above.

Jailbreak tutorial you can find here.
