A possible FaceTime bug causes phones to ring by themselves

We know that the versions of iOS released by Apple have some bugs, the most recent one was discovered for the iPad tablet and was related to keyboard which does not enter the selected keys correctly. Yesterday one Italian site discovered another equally serious bug related to FaceTime, more precisely around 3:30 at night the iPhone 4 or iPhone 3G/3GS terminals with FaceTime activated called by themselves to various numbers in the phonebook. It seems that the phenomenon is quite widespread and would affect even Macs, and if it turns out to be true then it is a very, very big problem because no one wants to wake up in the middle of the night with a FaceTime call opened by the wrong phone.

For now, take everything as an unconfirmed rumor because it is only about some local reports. If you have also experienced waking up with FaceTime calls made while you were sleeping, then please leave a comment. To be honest I don't know whether to believe or not that this problem really exists, however if it is true then it is quite strange and needs a quick fix.

UPDATED: It seems that it is no longer just a rumor, some Romanian users have experienced it, so the problem exists.
