Infinity Blade available in the AppStore

The famous Infinity Blade of the company Epic Games was finally released in the AppStore (New Zealand for now)! The game was initially presented more than 3 months ago at the Apple conference where we saw for the first time the new iPod Touch 4G and iOS 4.1. In these 3 months, Epic Games worked intensively, changed the name of the project and now we are close to having the possibility to purchase Infinity Blade in the AppStore. The game is currently available in New Zealand for just over $8, but in Romania the price will most likely reach somewhere around €5-6.

Infinity Blade is built on the Unreal 3 graphics engine and is currently perhaps the best-built game in the AppStore, from a graphical point of view of course. In terms of gameplay, Infinity Blade means battles upon battles upon battles with various monsters placed along the Citadel. After these battles you will gain experience plus various items. You will be able to purchase new weapons/armor as you advance in the game, basically it's a kind of World of Warcraft in miniature, so a game that will probably create addiction and generate a lot of money for Epic Games.

Infinity Blade is worth the money and will probably reach the top of sales in many AppStores around the world. The game only works on iPhone 3GS/4, iPod Touch 3G/4G and iPad.
