Today MuscleNerd has us PROVEN through a video that iOS 4.2.1 can be jailbroken so that the devices have an untethered jailbreak and of course a lot of people are wondering when we will have this new jailbreak solution available. Well, comex announces that the untethered jailbreak solution will be available before Christmas, but does not specify if it is the temporary solution developed by the Dev Team or the permanent solution developed by him. Anyway, by Christmas we should have at least one untethered jailbreak solution for our devices available from anyone.
Until then, don't forget that the Dev Team is also working on a method that will allow baseband downgrade.
