The Skyfire browser of the company with the same name had a rather tumultuous existence in Apple's AppStore. Initially, the application was available in all AppStores, but due to the very high demand and the overcrowding of the Skyfire company's infrastructure, it decided to withdraw the application from the AppStore until it manages to optimize its server network to cope with the traffic. Some time has passed and now the application is finally available all over Europe, so starting today you will be able to purchase and use it with your iDevice. Skyfire also launched the iPad version of the application, but unfortunately it is not currently available in AppStore Romania.
Skyfire allows us to view videos in flash format that are normally not recognized by Safari due to Apple's policy. Skyfire works based on a technology that takes the movie in flash format, transforms it into HTML 5 and then sends it back to the terminal to allow us to view it without problems. Unfortunately, the biggest minus of the application is the impossibility of playing a movie while watching, but maybe in the future we will also see this function implemented by Skyfire.
