Word Lens is a new augmented reality app that translates in real time the words recorded by the terminal with the rear camera. In case you didn't understand, we are talking about real-time video recording and instant translation of the words directly on the phone screen directly instead of those displayed. Watch the video and you'll understand what I'm talking about, I for one was very amazed by what this application can do and probably many people were speechless after seeing how the application can be used.
The application is currently free in the AppStore, but we are only talking about a demo version that reverses the words, but only the words in English because it does not know Romanian yet. At the moment, the developers of the application are working on the implementation of other languages in the application and each language pack will cost $4.99 and can be purchased through an in-app purchase.
Word Lens works without an internet connection, it only needs your camera pointed at the text and the algorithms implemented in the application instantly translate all the words.
