Yesterday I wrote one article in which we explain the steps to be taken to have a decent forum on zaone.ro. Yesterday I presented two solutions and asked you to donate money for the purchase of one of them, a forum platform that will be the foundation stone for the new forum on zaone.ro. Today, one day later, €157 was collected, enough money to purchase the platform vBulletin on the basis of which we will build the new forum and I hope a larger and more united community of iPhone users.
To be honest, I was extremely amazed by the promptness with which you responded to my request and I was equally amazed by your desire to donate. In this way, I want to thank all those who donated money, regardless of the amount, but also those who wanted to but couldn't! I promised you that I will give you privileges on the forum and I will keep my word, however, those who do not want such a thing can tell me.
I will purchase the new platform tomorrow and from then on I will start testing it, configuring it and in the near future I will release it. Until then, please be patient and if you have knowledge of photoshop/webdesign, I would need your help to customize it.
Thanks again to everyone who has donated so far! I was and still am very amazed by this community, I can only say that I am happy that we managed to gather so many people with big souls around this site!
UPDATE: I managed to purchase the platform today. It cost 152€ and 28€ remained from the donations which will be used either to buy possible mods or plugins for the forum or will be used to pay for the hosting for zaone.ro.
