limera1n was the last jailbreak solution released by geohot for the general public, benefiting from a completely new exploit capable of jailbreaking all iDevices even for future versions of iOS. geohot had that exploit ready since March, but decided to use it only in September when the Dev Team was "struggling" to make a jailbreak solution for iOS 4.1. Also in that period geohot seems to be posted and the rubyra1n.com domain, I say that it is also registered by him because the registration data for the 2 domains are identical.
Considering that geohot seems to have registered 2 domains with 2 distinct names, it makes me think that either he was undecided about the name of the new jailbreak solution or he registered 2 domains with the idea of releasing more than one jailbreak solution. It is hard to believe that geohot will release a new jailbreak solution now, although the Dev Team is "struggling" with the one for iOS 4.2.1, but it is not impossible. I personally believe that geohot will appear after the iPad 2 launch when it will surprise us again with a jailbreak solution for all devices.
I recommend that you take this news as a rumor.
