The Associated Press has published a video clip of a report in which they are introduced to us story to a man from Atlanta whose life was saved by the battery of an HTC Droid Incredible terminal. The man works as a valet at a club that was the scene of an attack in which 2 armed men started shooting at the club after they were kicked out due to inappropriate behavior. One of the bullets fired then penetrated the man's jacket and stopped in the battery of the HTC Droid Incredible terminal that he had in it. You can see that the battery heroically resisted the impact, but I doubt that the terminal is still functional.
Do you think the iPhone 4 could stop a bullet? I don't think so, I've seen enough videos where the iDevices didn't put up much resistance when they were shot at.
