Europe Offline Map with directU is a new application available for free in the AppStore that contains maps of the entire European continent. The application is produced by the same company that developed the iGo My Way application, but this new application only allows offline consultation of the included maps. There are no options for calculating routes, but the application is compatible with Retina Display and the iPad tablet and will soon have options for setting favorite locations. For now, addresses cannot be searched using this application, but the developer company promises that soon we will have this function together with a new set of maps and a redone UI.
The maps included in the application are taken from the website openstreetmap.com and they have a fairly good coverage of Romania. To be honest, these maps seem a bit more complete than Google Maps, but that probably depends from city to city.
