The Sony PlayStation Phone is slowly getting closer to its official release, which will take place sometime during the first half of this year. In the video clip above we have a small demonstration of how the games work on the new device. For the test, Resident Evil 2 and Rage Racer were used, 2 games with outdated graphics engines that of course do not cause problems for the device.

In this video clip we have a small demonstration of how the gamepad works, or how it doesn't work, in the game Asphalt 5 (if I'm not mistaken) for Android. It is quite clear that this new terminal will need special games that work with the gamepad hardware, otherwise the attempts to install and use the old games with it could prove in vain. Probably Sony will make a library or a games store for this new device or maybe they will support some developers to make games for it.
