Apple will accept applications with uncensored media content in the AppStore

Hugh Hefner, founder of the men's magazine Playboy, a announced on his Twitter account that the magazine will be available in the AppStore in the uncensored version starting in March. Apple has a fairly strict policy regarding pornographic content, prohibiting the acceptance of this kind of applications. It is not known why Apple decided to change this policy and why we will only have the application available in the AppStore in March, but it is nice to see that Apple has the ability to waive certain restrictions.

Playboy's founder claims that the application will contain both old and new issues of the magazine and it remains to be seen whether Apple will allow the display of the entire uncensored content or force the publication to display only a certain type of photos.
