Apple stores in China record higher sales than the Apple store in Manhattan

China is the most important country for Apple's store infrastructure as the Asian country generated 10% of the company's total revenue for Q4 2010. Apple had a success extraordinarily large in the country with the largest population in the world and the company intends to launch another 25 new stores by the end of 2012. Apple management members have repeatedly stated that China is the main priority for Apple and it is normal to be it considering that the stores there generate more sales than the store in Fifth Avenue, Manhattan, New York.

"We put enormous energy into China, and the results of that have been absolutely staggering," said Cook, who will handle the company's day-to-day operations as Chief Executive Officer Steve Jobs takes medical leave. It's clear that we're introducing a lot of people to Apple who previously had not been introduced to the company."

Apple will not miss the opportunity to open as many stores as possible in China, and I suspect that as soon as the LTE version of the iPhone is available on the world's largest mobile operator, Apple will increase its revenues by at least 50%. China is a gold mine for Apple, a gold mine from which the company is only now beginning to extract the first serious money.
