A little more than an hour ago, a video clip was published in which we are your presence the new version of the MyWi application. As you already know, MyWi allows users to share an Internet connection via BlueTooth, USB or turn an iDevice into a Wi-Fi HotSpot. Apple included the function in iOS 4.3 Personal HotSpot which would have turned MyWi into an almost useless application because it "steals" its main functionality. Well, the developers of the MyWi application thought to raise the stake a little and made this new version of the application that brings some interesting news.

First of all, we have a completely new interface, we have a differentiated layout of all the options plus explanations for each of them. Secondly, we now have all types of available options explained by category: what connections we can make for a laptop, what connections we can make for an iDevice and what connections we can make for other devices. Now the connection between iDevices will be done by opening the application on each device separately and setting the desired options for the type of connection set. The most interesting option of all is MyWi OnDemand.

MyWi OnDemand allows us to set up a Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connection between our devices so that they connect to each other only when they need to. Basically, when you browse the Internet, the iPad connects to the iPhone because it needs a connection, but when you stop browsing, the connection opens automatically and reopens when you start browsing again. The whole process happens automatically without the user having to connect/disconnect from the device every time. The whole concept is very interesting and will definitely bring the application back to the top of the most purchased applications in Cydia, although there is now also Personal HotSpot.
