The TV Live application from Orange gives us the possibility to watch the live stream of several TV/radio stations from Romania for free and not only directly from iDevices. The application has been available in the AppStore since the end of last year and if you have already installed it then you have noticed that it does not work on Wi-Fi connections but only on a 3G data connection of Orange Romania. When opening the application, it checks the data connection and if it identifies an IP other than that of an Orange connection, it does not provide access to the stream. Orange does not charge in any way for the use of this service, it offers it for free, but viewing can only be done through the Orange network, so the traffic offered by them must be consumed.
Initially, the service was free until January, but now it has been extended until the end of March, so you can continue to use it without problems if you have enough data traffic. Watching the stream requires about 400KB of traffic per minute, so make sure you have enough available before opening the application.
