Today Nokia held a press conference in which it officially announced the end of a Partnership with Microsoft, which will bring Windows Phone 7 to your own smartphones, but with it some of the most popular services offered by Microsoft. The 2 companies concluded this strategic partnership beneficial for both parties: Nokia will finally have a decent operating system for its users and Microsoft will have an extraordinarily large market. Both Nokia and Microsoft have to gain from this experience, but let's not forget that the users matter the most.

Microsoft will offer Windows Phone 7 together with services such as Bing, Xbox Live or Office, and Nokia will come with the hardware support and its own distribution network for Windows Phone 7 terminals. Hard times are coming for Apple, which now has to fight with both Google/ Android as well as with Nokia/Microsoft and Windows Phone 7. Apple will not offer iOS manufacturers for the development of smartphones and unfortunately now Apple is fighting a war that it cannot win. Windows Phone 7 will "explode" as soon as the first Nokia smartphones are available, even though other big manufacturers already have terminals on the market.
