YouTube will allow you to upload 3D video clips made with the LG Optimus 3D

During a conference to be held today at the Mobile World Conference in Barcelona, a representative of YouTube a announced that LG and Google have concluded a partnership through which owners of 3D devices made by LG will be able to publish 3D videos on YouTube. According to the representative, the video clips will be available in 3 different formats, 720p being probably the best quality of such a clip. The partnership is not surprising, but it will be interesting how YouTube will play these clips and, of course, users will have to buy special glasses to be able to see them.

A very smart move on the part of LG because the popularity of the company's devices could increase as soon as users start publishing their video clips made with their own terminals. If the devices work properly and the quality of the films is good, then we could witness the first steps taken towards the large-scale implementation of 3D cameras in smartphones.
