iPad 2 has a dual-core graphics chip with up to 7 times faster than the one in iPad

Those from Anandtech have theirs continuity series of benchmarks for the iPad 2 and they discovered that inside the tablet "hides" a dual-core PowerVR SGX543MP2 graphics chip that is almost 7 times faster than the one in the iPad. In the "geometric" benchmarks, the graphic chip in the iPad 2 is 3-5 times faster than the one in the iPad, and in the GLBenchmark 2.0 benchmark, the iPad 2 proved to be 5.4 times faster than the iPad and 7 times faster faster than Motorola Xoom. The rest of the benchmarks showed that the iPad 2 has a graphic chip up to 7 times faster than the one in the iPad, so developers will be able to implement a whole series of graphic elements that until now could not run fluently on the iPad.

Interestingly, the graphic chip in the iPad 2 is up to 7 times faster than the one in the Motorola Xoom, but it will be even more interesting to see how game developers will manage to benefit from this enormous graphics processing power.
