Angry Birds Rio, the new version of the popular game specially made for the movie Rio, is finally available in the AppStore, but for the time being in the New Zealand one, and the application will also be launched in AppStore Romania tonight. In Angry Birds Rio, Rovio presents the story of 2 birds that were captured by a group of animal thieves, everything being done according to the script of the movie Rio which will be available in cinemas soon. The game spans 60 levels that will be progressively unlocked by those from Rovio in a manner similar to the Angry Birds Seasons game, i.e. at certain periods of time.
Angry Birds Rio will still cost only €0.79 for iPhone/iPod Touch and the version for iPad will obviously be much more expensive.
