Backstab - the first game made by Gameloft using Unreal Engine 3?

A few days ago on Gameloft's Twitter account it was published a very interesting image that was interpreted as being from a game, which would use the graphics engine of Unreal Engine 3. The images from this article appeared on the Internet today, some say that they resemble the one published by Gameloft the other day past, but this production will not be based on Unreal Engine 3, unfortunately, but will use Gameloft's own graphic engine. The game will be called Backstab and it centers on Henry Blake, a man from the 18th century whose main goal is to kill the one who accused him of treason and because of which he is wanted by the British army.

The game will be released in the following months and will be available initially for Sony Xperia Play and then for iOS. From the images, the game looks pretty good, but it would have been more interesting if it was made with Unreal Engine 3, right? The last few games made by Gameloft have not, in my view, lived up to the standards that a 2011 game should have. The partnership with Epic Games could be extremely profitable for Gameloft, but the company must produce games based on that graphic engine.
