Viber is an application available in the AppStore for several months that allows us to make free VoIP calls between our terminals. The developers of the application announced the release of version 2.0 for some time and now we have the first details about Viber 2.0. The most important novelty consists in the possibility of sending messages between users of the Viber network, an option similar to the one available in the Whatsapp Messenger network or in the recently launched TextFree. The voice call service and the one for sending messages will continue to be free for all users.
Here's what's new in version 2.0:
- New Messaging Service integrated Viber style WhatsApp Messenger, to send free text messages to other users using the application.
- Bug fixes, including the most common connectivity problems, the problems of identification of users as "Viber users" and so on.
- Improvements on the speed of the application.
- Introduction of a mechanism call document you better to let you know if the person calling that you will be using Viber will actually be ringing the iPhone or not.
- The ability to activate the "I don't know Show again ", that is when you start a normal GSM call through Viber rather than a VoIP call.
- A new option to disable Account Viber from within the same application
- Moving the Favorites tab.
