Dev Team confirms the functionality of the untethered jailbreak solution for iOS 4.3.1

I told you last night that i0n1c offered his untethered jailbreak solution to the Dev Team to implement it in a future version of redsn0w that will jailbreak for iOS 4.3.1. MuscleNerd confirmed last night that i0n1c's solution works 100% correctly and the only things that need to be done are solving some problems with Cydia and with the jailbreak itself. Normally, such problems should be solved in a maximum of a week, but considering that we are talking about the Dev Team, things could drag on for a much longer period of time.

Regarding the "conspiracy" ideas regarding the possible infiltration of a member of Apple in the Dev Team, last night comex confirmed that the Dev Team did not know about its exploit. The Chronic Dev Team knew, but comex claims that they did not send any information to Apple. They probably don't know the truth either, but it remains to be seen how things will unfold in the future. Unfortunately, the jailbreak solution for iOS 4.3.1 that will be released in the near future will not work on iPad 2.
