Romanians and the purchase of applications from the AppStore

On Sunday, we started a survey in which we asked you how much money you spend on applications from the AppStore. I expected the results to be similar, if not identical, to yours sounding done last year, but I found with pleasure that the number of those who hack applications has decreased, at least in the survey. 625 people have responded to this survey so far, almost 10% more than in the previous one, but more important are the figures that you can see below and that you can complete with a vote if you haven't done so yet. In general, the number of those who hack applications decreased by 8%, a percentage that was divided between the other options, where a 5% increase was recorded in the area of those who spend 1-10€ per month on applications.

On the left you have the results for last year, on the right for this year:

The piracy rate is still high, but I don't think there is any point in entering into an endless discussion on this topic. We all know why there is a problem in Romania, we all know that the authorities look elsewhere because it is normal to be like that since 90% of Romanians have pirated Windows. In a country like Romania, piracy will last forever because there are other, much more important problems to solve, and in a poor country like ours, the fight against piracy would solve absolutely nothing, it would only create victims.

Of course, this is just a survey, no one can ever say that a survey has 100% correct results, but you can take it as a reference to get an idea of how much is hacked in Romania. If you haven't answered the survey yet, please do so at least now.
