This evening Apple will announce the financial results for Q2 2011

This evening, Apple will hold a conference audio in which he will present the financial results for Q2 2011, a quarter of a year with the launch of an iPad 2 tablet but also with a disaster in Japan that affected the company's ability to deliver products on time. It is estimated that in this Q2 Apple will record somewhat better results than in Q1 2011, much better than in the same period last year but slightly below what American analysts estimated. The disaster in Japan seems to be the main "culprit", but Apple will definitely recover in Q3.

Apple's conference call webcast discussing Q2 – 2011 financial results will begin at 2:00pm PT/5:00pm ET on Wednesday, April 20, 2011.

Please note that comments made during this call may include forward-looking statements that are subject to risks and uncertainties, and that actual results may differ materially from these forward-looking statements.

The conference for the presentation of the results of Q1 2011 started at 0:00 and this time the situation seems to be identical. Apple will probably announce figures officially regarding the number of iPhone, iPod or iPad tablets sold since their launch until now, but I learned from Samsung today some unofficial figures. Steve Jobs will probably not participate, so everything is up to Tim Cook.
