Find My Mac may be available in Mac OS X Lion

Shortly after the release of the first beta version of Mac OS X Lion, those from 9to5mac have discovery indications inside the system files, information that indicated that Apple will launch a service called Find My Mac. Then it was rumored that the service would be similar, if not identical, to Find My iPhone, only that it would be dedicated to Macs. Last night Apple released a new update for Mac OS X Lion and inside it was found an icon for the Find My Mac service, the icon which is identical to the one for the Find My iPhone service in iOS.

However, the respective icon is not the only thing found in the new update because there is also information about an application called Find My Mac Messenger. Nothing is known about this at the moment, but we will probably see it installed in the system as soon as Apple officially releases Mac OS X Lion. For now, we are only talking about unofficial information discovered in a beta version of Mac OS X Lion, but in general these indications represent preliminary versions of some applications to be launched by Apple.
