Do you want to flash on iPhone and iPod Touch? Well, this is possible with the help of a new browser launched this week in the AppStore. Puffin is the browser I'm talking about and through it you can see flash content from any page directly on your terminal screen. Of course, Apple does not allow accessing flash content directly on iOS, so Puffin works the same as Skyfire, that is, all flash content is taken over by some servers that convert the content into HTML5 and send it to the application on the iPhone/iPad. The technology is similar, but the results leave much to be desired because the displayed pages are almost unusable.
I played a little with the browser and the process of displaying flash content is simple, basically, instead of banners or other flash content, the flash logo appears and when you click on the logo, the content appears immediately. The problem is that as soon as the flash content is displayed you can no longer scroll properly on the page, you can no longer click on almost anything, the whole browsing experience is ruined. The bad part is that the videos can't be played either, except for those on YouTube. The developer of the application also brags about the possibility of playing flash games, but in reality you cannot do this because nothing works.

For now, Puffin is a failed attempt to bring flash to iDevices, but it's a first step and shows that a company with the appropriate funds could produce a decent system for displaying flash content on iDevices. Puffin costs €0.79.
