Today Google held the I/O conference in which it presented a multitude of news for the owners of Android terminals. During this meeting, the company officially launched Google Music, the first online audio streaming service launched by Google. Through this service, the company offers Android terminal owners the opportunity to upload their music to Google's servers and listen to it anywhere on any computer or Android terminal. The service is available in beta version and only in the US for now.

Music Beta is a new service from Google that gives you instant access to your personal music collection without the hassle of wires or syncing. Add your music collection and listen on the web or any compatible Android device.

It is rumored that Apple would launch a similar service called iCloud in June, but I am sure that by then the company will find a way to offer more functions to its users than Google offers now. Apple has the WWDC scheduled for June 6 and then it will present iOS 5, Mac OS X Lion and probably the new iCloud which should be clearly superior to Google Music, but this is not a certainty.
