FindMyPhone finds your lost iPhone

FindMyPhone is a new application launched today in Cydia that makes it easier to find a lost iPhone. The application allows us to send an SMS to the terminal in question and when the SMS reaches the phone, a sound preselected by us will start playing. To activate the respective sound, we must send an SMS with a certain text selected by us so that the application knows that it must be activated and play the respective sound. Of course, this application can only be used locally because a lost or stolen iPhone cannot really be recovered by this method because coordinates or other information are not sent to the person who lost the phone.

FindMyPhone can be purchased from Cydia for $0.99 and works on at least iOS 3.1.2.

FindMyPhone will let you locate your iPhone by sending it SMS. When FindMyPhone receives the saved SMS message, it will play your saved sound for the duration you selected. Enter SMS text that you can remember. For example use your home phone number, or your date of birth. You can also select a specific sound from the list and set the duration for the sound to be played.
