After several months of waiting, Opera Mini for iPad finally arrives in the AppStore. Today Opera released the new version of the application which was extremely successful on the iPhone but which works extremely hard on the iPhone 4. The version for the iPad brings some improvements to the performance of the application, some bug fixes and some new things implemented by developers. Now the application is compatible with the retina screen of the iPhone 4 and on the iPad we have the same interface and the same feeling as in the iPhone version.
Here's what's new in Opera Mini for iPad:
- Updated design with a fresh new look and feel
- Super smooth pinch-to-zoom and panning
- Support for iPhone 4 retina display, iPad, and iPad 2 devices
- Direct share on Facebook, Twitter, and My Opera
- Open new page in background tab
- Improved international font support for Arabic, Chinese, Vietnamese, and other non-Latin languages
