Resellers of Apple products in Romania and identical prices for the MacBook Pro/Air range

A few days ago I wrote an article in which said as one of the authorized Apple resellers in Romania, it has a price policy that is not quite so correct, from my point of view. Meanwhile, I read the opinion of a representative of a reseller who said that the prices for Apple products are imposed by the distributor. Apcom is the only distributor of Apple products in Romania, all resellers are obliged to buy from Apcom, according to what the representative said, and this is where the high prices come from. Apcom holds the monopoly on the Romanian market and the resellers are obliged to buy at the price imposed by the distributor.

The fact that they have to buy from the same distributor is one thing, but the interesting part is yet to come. The resellers of Apple products seem to have concluded a pact, at least it seems so, because their prices for Apple products are IDENTICAL. I'll give you the example of Noumax and iStyle, which have exactly the same prices for MacBook Pro/Air. Here are examples as eloquent as possible regarding the price policy of the 2 stores MacBook Air Noumax vs MacBook Air iStyle, MacBook Pro Noumax vs MacBook Pro iStyle. Under these conditions, where is the competition? If the resellers have exactly the same prices for a range of Apple products, what option does the buyer still have? Basically, whether you buy from Noumax or buy from iStyle, you will pay the same price. Under these conditions, is it still worth bothering to buy Apple products from authorized resellers, especially when other online stores have lower prices than resellers?

This policy regarding prices is not from yesterday to today, it dates back at least 1 year when I noticed it for the first time and as it seems it will last a long time and well. I know that I live in Romania, I know how business is done here, but what the resellers do seems to me more than incorrect.
