The iWork suite for iPad, i.e. Numbers, Keynote and Pages, has been available in the AppStore for some time, but Apple decided to launch today and the version for iPhone and iPod Touch. Shortly after announcement the fact that Steve Jobs will present WWDC 2011, here is Apple announcing the launch of the iWork suite for the iPhone. Using the applications from the iWork suite, we can make presentations of documents or spreadsheets similar to those made in Mac OS X. The applications for iPhone and iPod Touch of the iWork suite have the same functions as those for the iPad, but the price remains the same, i.e. €7.99 for each individual application . The purchase of the entire iWork suite for iPhone costs €24, but it is worth it for those interested.
The 3 universal applications work on iPhone 3GS/4, iPad 1/2 and iPod Touch 3G/4G. It is interesting how Apple launched them a week before WWDC when they could have presented them directly there and amazed the whole world. Those who bought the iPad version will be able to download the new universal version of the application for free.
