The option to automatically download application updates will be available in iOS 5

Are you waiting for new functions for your iDevices? If so, then here is one that apparently was made known to the public almost 3 months ago, but only now it comes to our attention. Apple updated the App Store documentation about 3 months ago and included in the information available online a phrase that leads us to the thought of implementing a system that would automatically update our applications. The phrase is as clear as possible and does not refer to a feature already available in iOS because at the moment we do not have any option that allows us to set the automatic download of updates for our applications.

Of if your device has Automatic Download enabled for apps, your updates will download to your device without having to sync.

As the function is presented, it seems that in iOS 5 we would have an option for our iDevices that would allow us to give them the opportunity to update their applications themselves. Of course, there would also be the option to block this automatic update because not everyone is willing to update even when they are not at home near a Wi-Fi network. I could not say that it is an extremely important option, I think that we are all waiting for some design changes and the implementation of other much more useful functions. The interesting part is that after presenting this information, Apple closed the section where it talks about updates for applications.
