Video: Concept: dynamic icons in iOS and an advanced notification system

If Peter Hajas was employee of Apple to probably work on a future notification system for iOS then I think so Jan Michael-Cart he should undoubtedly be part of the Apple design team. I've seen some extraordinarily well-made concepts so far, and the one above is no exception to the rule. We have in front of us an advanced notification system that displays the notification directly in the application icon, a dynamic icon, which is able to change its appearance depending on the received message. Practically, the notification is now displayed directly on the application icon instead of an intrusive message that appears on our screen.

These dynamic icons are combined with an App preview Mode that allows us to double tap on Springboard to zoom in on the application icon. We will have 4 icons on the screen and from these icons we can access various menus of the application by clicking on one of the buttons displayed on the icon. In essence, the icons turn into widgets in App Preview Mode and from the icon we can access any part of the application if the developer allows us.

I don't think we will ever see something like this in iOS, but it looks amazingly good and I hope that Google will implement these functions in Android so that later Apple will do it too.
