The automatic downloads function implemented by Apple in iOS 5 allows the automatic download of favorite applications on our terminals or on other computers that have iTunes open. As you can see in the clip above, if we download an application through iTunes on PC or Mac, it is automatically downloaded on the terminal that is logged in with the same Apple ID from which the application was downloaded. In this way, we can always have our favorite applications directly in our terminal without having to synchronize with iTunes. The option is extremely useful, but Google also has something similar that allows the installation of applications directly from the browser, that is, we access Android Market from the browser and we can select the terminal to which the application is sent to be installed.

Of course, Apple implemented the option in a different way, but the principle is similar. I think it's a great feature that will save us from wasted time.
