iOS 5 will allow you to delete songs directly from the Music application

Although it took several years, Apple managed to implement in the Music application the option to delete the songs transferred to our terminals. If we swype next to a song in the Music application, we will have the delete button displayed exactly as in the image above. Until now, this option was unavailable, but Apple believes that starting with iOS 5 we need it, but unfortunately there is no option to select several songs that can be deleted or an option to allow the deletion of the entire music library.

The new option is available both for the iPad tablet, whose new interface for the Music application you have listed above, as well as for the iPhone/iPod Touch terminal. It doesn't matter if the songs were bought from iTunes or transferred from your computer, you will be able to delete absolutely anything.

  1. On the one hand, they are justified, how many trivial functions are not on the iPhone... Shall I say about the possibility of transferring contacts to the card?
Apple focuses on the introduction of new functions that are not on other platforms, but has forgotten the trivial ones.

  2. @zaone what does smartphone mean until Apple releases the iPhone? it was a multi-GB phone and you had games on it... honestly, I don't even remember what smartphones were before. Were there tablets before Apple launched one? because if they existed, I didn't have the faintest idea. Do you think they don't have more important things to do than delete 10 songs at once? They all have their pluses and minuses...and to be honest...I like their products, they make my life easier...at least in the UK I use them everywhere...in Romania less but with time who knows.

  3. There is no comparison term for tablets because a tablet like the iPad did not exist before. With smartphones we can compare and as I said above, they put emphasis on the implementation of many new functions but they forgot about the trivial ones. However, both categories of functions are needed.
