One of the biggest problems of Safari in iOS is loading web pages and unfortunately Android has long surpassed iOS in this regard, but even IE9 in Windows Phone 7 loads pages faster than Safari in iOS. Safari from iOS 5 loads pages faster than Safari from iOS 4 and it seems that Apple has worked a lot on perfecting compatibility with HTML 5, so it is possible that from the fall the disadvantage of Safari compared to the other browsers will be non-existent.
