SMSEnhacer is a new tweak released yesterday in Cydia that brings 2 new functions to the Messages application in iOS. First of all, we have the possibility to add a timestamp next to each received message, that is, next to each message will be displayed the date and time it was received. Secondly, we have the possibility to set a picture for each of our contacts. The picture displayed next to each contact can be the default picture set for that contact or another picture chosen by us.
The tweak can be configured from the iOS Settings menu, but not in iOS 5 where the respective menus are unavailable. SMSEnhancer is available in the BigBoss repo for $0.99.

SMSEnhancer is a tweak committed to taking your SMSing experience to another level. With SMSEnhancer, you get to see your contact's picture right inside from your SMS app giving you the feeling of a real IM client like iChat.
By default, for every contact that you exchange SMS with, the tweak will look for a picture for that contact from your address book, should you have no picture for a particular contact the tweak will load a default one instead.
Also, the tweak allows you to turn on timestamps for EVERY incoming/outgoing SMS and not just based on certain amounts of time as currently is by default.
No new icons have been added to your home screen. Configure options from your Settings app.
