Vodafone launched the tariff plan last week Internet iPad which brought users 2 GB of traffic for only €11 per month. Today, Orange announces the launch of the Internet Prepay 7 card for iPad, which offers users 1 GB of traffic for only €7, without VAT, per month. Orange will also offer one AR Drones a few lucky people who buy a PrePay 7 Internet card in June/July and use it during this period. Orange has concluded partnerships with Altex and Media Galaxy, where customers can purchase a PrePay 7 Internet card from Orange with every iPad 2 tablet. Vodafone's offer is better, the double traffic offer at a lower price, so probably many will go on that option.
Bucharest, June 27, 2011. From June 29, Orange Romania launches a mobile data offer created especially for Micro-SIM users: Internet PrePay 7 for iPad.
With Internet PrePay 7 for iPad, Orange customers benefit from high-speed mobile internet through the HSDPA connection. The SIM card includes 1GB of internet traffic available for a period of 30 days, at a rate of 7 euros (without VAT). After using the initial traffic, customers have the possibility to further recharge the dedicated Internet PrePay 7 option for iPad at the price of EUR 7 (without VAT) or they can choose any other Internet PrePay option.[1]
The PrePay 7 Internet card for iPad is easy to use and recharge, does not require a contract or monthly invoice and is available in any Orange store.
Following the partnership between Orange, Altex and Media Galaxy, customers can purchase the Internet PrePay 7 card for iPad together with the new iPad 2 tablet from the Altex and Media Galaxy store networks.
In the months of July and August, Orange offers one AR Drone each to one of the customers who will use the Internet PrePay 7 card for iPad during those periods.
AR Drone, distributed in Romania exclusively by Orange, is the first helicopter that can be controlled by iPhone, iPod or iPad with the help of the integrated Wi-Fi system ( http://www.orange.ro/ar-drone/index.html ).
