The new version of Final Cut Pro generated a lot of discussion on the Internet due to the changes implemented by Apple. Although Apple wanted to make the work of users easier with the new version of Final Cut Pro, in reality the company managed, in the view of some, only to "spoil" a lot of functions. Conan O'Brien even made a video clip in which parody the frustration of professionals who have installed Final Cut Pro X and discovered that they cannot import some of the existing projects or the functions implemented by Apple are not really that useful.

Some customers have received sympathetic email responses from Apple support staff, including:

"Moving forward, I understand that you are not satisfied with the app "Final Cut Pro". I can certainly appreciate you would like a refund, and I would be more than happy to help you out with this today. In five to seven business days, a credit of £179.99 should be posted to the credit card that appears on the receipt for that purchase.

Please note that this is a one time exception because the iTunes Terms and Conditions state that all sales are final."

Until now, Apple has not made any kind of official statement regarding the problems reported by users, but today they started to be returned money to those who requested it through the online form in the Mac App Store. For Apple, this measure is unusual considering that applications from the Mac App Store are not normally returned, but this time Apple makes an exception to please those who consider that they spent a few hundred dollars for nothing.

Of course, not all users received their money back, but probably in the following days, those who had solid arguments will receive their money, so if you are unhappy with Final Cut Pro X, now is the time to ask for your money back.
