SwirlyMMS or SwirlyMessages is an application for iDevices that allows sending SMS/MMS messages from iPad/iPad 2 3G tablets. With the help of a card that has SMS/MMS services activated, we can send messages directly from the tablet using either our operator's telephone network or Swirly's network. The application has been updated for some time and version 2.0 is called SwirlyMessage and is compatible not only with iPad 3G but also with iPad 2 or all models of iPhone terminals.
Those from Swirly have not officially announced that the iPad 2 tablet is compatible with their application, but according to some tests we can use the application without problems. A license for SwirlyMessage costs $12, but the application comes with a free trial period during which you can test the services offered. You can install the application from Cydia from the BigBoss repo.
