Opera Mini for iOS was updated today, version 6.0.1 being published in the App Store by the Opera company. The Opera Mini browser for iDevices is a much modified version of the Opera Mini browser for Android/Symbian and unfortunately has quite a few functions. For those who have a not so fast internet connection, Opera Mini is a very good way to surf the internet at relatively good speeds considering that the browser has an integrated system that shrinks web pages and allows them to be loaded with up to 6 times faster. For high-speed connections, this function is absolutely useless because the quality of web pages suffers during compression and loading them in Safari or any other browser is more than indicated.
Here's what's new in version 6.0.1:
