iStartupSound plays a sound when your iDevice boots

Starting with iOS 4.2.1 we have the possibility to add an animated boot logo when starting our terminal and now we even have the possibility to set a sound that is played when the own iDevice starts. iStartupSound is a new tweak made by a Russian developer and with its help we can set a certain sound that is played when our terminal finishes the boot process. The sound is played in Springboard, so everything needs to be loaded in our terminal before the actual sound is played by the tweak.

We can change the standard sounds in the tweak by adding some .mp3, .wav or .caf files in the location /var/mobile but the requirement is that the name of the file should be startup.wav regardless of the initial format it had. The tweak will be available for free in Cydia in the ModMyi repo very soon and it will be free but in the meantime you can download it from here. The developer also sent a tweak called iScreenSaver for approval in Cydia, which is no less than 85 MB and brings screensavers for iOS, but I will talk about it when it is available.

UPDATE: The tweak is available in the ModMyi repo.
