Apple launches new MacBook Air, Mac Mini and Cinema Display models

Along with the new OS X Lion, we also have new models in the Apple Online Store MacBook Air, Mac Mini si CinemaDisplay. MacBook Air and Mac Mini come with processors built on the Sandy Bridge platform and all 3 products have implemented Thunderbolt technology. The new models MacBook Air they are available in 11.6 and 13-inch versions, as we told you today, and in terms of internal hardware, we are talking about i5 and i7 processors produced by Intel. The products are available both in standard versions and in customized versions in which we can have an Intel i7 processor of maximum 1.8 Ghz. As I said in an older article, the new MacBook Airs are again available with illuminated keyboards. Here are the MacBook Air configurations available in the Apple Store:

11.6-inch
– 1.6 GHz, 64 GB SSD, 2 GB RAM: $999
– 1.6 GHz, 128 GB SSD, 4 GB RAM: $1199

13.3-inch
– 1.7 GHz, 128 GB SSD, 4 GB RAM: $1299
– 1.7 GHz, 256 GB SSD, 4 GB RAM: $1599

The new products Mac Mini are available at prices starting at $599 and Apple claims that they contain 2 times more processing power and graphics than the old versions. The new Mac Minis come with an AMD graphics card and unfortunately they are left without the built-in optical drive. The basic version of the new Mac Mini comes with a 5 GHz i2.3 processor, an integrated Intel video card, 2GB of RAM, and a 500 GB HDD. The $799 model is equipped with a 5 GHz i2.5 processor, dedicated AMD video card, 4 GB RAM and 500 GB HDD. You can of course build a custom version of a Mac Mini that allows you to select a 7 Ghz dual-core i2.7 processor, 750 GB HDD or a 256 GB SSD and up to 8 GB RAM.
